Gees I have been so lazy with Chase's page lately! Well so much has happened lately with Chase..growing up wise...he is just getting so dang big & so independant! He is getting funner & so much more difficult with every passing day. His vocabulary grows with 5+ new words a day...blows my mind. He has switched to a big boy bed this month...only probelm is he has to be asleep before he gets in it! LOL! He also has found that he LOVES to talk on the phone. He talked to his Aunt Sarah on the phone today for probably 30 minutes! Saying Hi, Hi, Hi, Hi, Hi, Hi, Hi, Hi, Hi, Hi, Hi, Hi. like 500 times in a row...then asking Sarah "What doin?" & "How are ew?" The other day we were picking Daddy up from Softball & I honked the horn twice..Chase in the back seat let out "Do..Do!" I cracked up! So now everytime he hears a horn hong he yells out an ADORABLE "DO..DO!" Makes me crack up when he comes up with these things! Chase also is interested in a few toys that are his favorites. Oh course his baseballs & bat & glove...but they have taken sort of a back seat to his Hotwheels, lately. He LOVES cars of any kind!!! Big or Small...he loves them. I think Chuck & I have gotten into the Hotwheels just as much as Chase! He likes to play with them we like to pick them out! LOL! Chase gets 2 new ones everytime we go somewhere that has them...Chuck & I like to pick them out...and try to find different ones...LOL! I know what nerds! LOL! But Chase gets all his hotwheels on the table & drives them around. He's so cute how he lines them all up. I see me in him in that way..he is already kinda anal about how he likes things...and it has to be perfect otherwise he isn't a happy camper. He also likes figurines. Any figurine will do whether if is Elmo or Jack (from a Jack in the Box happy meal!) LOL! Chase's new favorite foods are fruit snacks (He LOVES these...more then ice cream!) Capri Suns or Lemonade, Popcorn is a definite favorite (msut have gotten that from my mom!) & he likes "Coco" (Mommy or Daddy's Coke) ALOT! Although he rarely gets that! *Notice the junk food trend going on here!* That's it for now...I could go on & on & on about Chase...but i will stop myself before I write a book! =0)

Haven't written in awhile...Well Chase is a big boy now days. It is hard to even imagine that he was once a 6 pound baby. He is quite talkative now days...which is always fun. He says sooo many things now...I am going to start taking a piece of paper out each day to jott them down as he says them, since I forget by the time Chuck gets home. Plus he talks plenty of baby gibberish. He is starting to get really into playing with his "babies" which are all his Tickle Me Elmo, Tickle Me Ernie, Tickle Me Big Bird,Tickle Me Cookie Monster, his Winnie the Pooh, Sing n' Snore Ernie, Daddy's old Wrinkles, and BJ from Barney. I watch him play with them...while he uses his imagination. His favorite though is to bring you EVERY one of his babies...and have you hold EVERY one of them...do not drop one or you will get Chase VERY upset! LOL! He's too cute! He loves his figurines too!

14th Month

Well Chase is in his 14th month right now...and we started off the New Year with a trip to the ER!! Chase pulled a bowl down off of the counter...and it hit his check..and busted it open...he got 5 stitches!! Poor baby! He was so good to...although I had to leave...because it was way to sad...he was fine as soon as Chuck brought him out! Getting those things taken out...almost seemed worse then getting them in! But as always he was a great little guy!! The other day Chase..was watching Seseme Street..and they were saying the alphabet...and Chase mimeced almost every letter!!! He such a smart boy!!!!

Well Chase is growing so big!!! He is learning more and more everyday!!! His vocabulary is also growing...he probab;y can say about 10 words! A new one that I think is particularly cute is "Oh-Yeah!"..I guess you just have to hear it..cuz it is the cutest!! Well nothing huge happened this month so I guess that wil be all!

Well Chase turned 1 on Monday, and I must say I was very sad!! It didn't want him to go to bed, because I didn't want him to get any older. We are having his party on Sunday 11-09-97. It should be fun...it is a Winnie the Pooh party, so I hope he enjoys it! Gees I know I said it before...but Chase is now TO DANG CUTE for me to handle, but along with his cuteness, came this major attitude. He now squeals, and whine's ALL THE TIME! But he still is a joy everyday! I wouldn't trade him for anything!

Chase is so funny. I have started to act like I am crying, when he is mean or tries to bite or something. I cover my face, and cry into my hands. Well he has caught on quite fast. So now if I tell him no, or take something away from him, he will squat down, cover his sweet face with his precious hands, and pretend to cry! Then looks up and gives you a sneaky little smile! He so cute! He also loves to get into our books! So I let him have our book about Basset Hounds. He goes through the book, stops as soon as he reaches a picture, gets real excited, points to the dog, squeals in delight, and then lets out several..."Woo-Woo's" That is "Woof Woof" in Chase language!! Cracks me up everytime!! Tonight Chuck was eatting some ice cream, and Chase climbed up to the couch sat next to Chuck, and would periodically start climbing on him saying "Mmmmmmm....Mmmmmmmm...Mmmmmmmm" Chuck stirs his ice cream up so Chase was doing that as he stired it..They sat there and ate their ice cream, and when it was gone, Chase was upset..Chuck showed him the bowl, and said It's all gone Chase...Chase then said "All Gone?" Such an angel!!!!
